Didier is passionate about private markets, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He has a long standing track record advising and financing private equity firms, entrepreneurs, and corporates. He is an angel investor and board member in various private markets companies.
Didier’s background is in international investment banking and corporate finance. He lived in NY, Paris and spent 21 years in London. He led for 10 years a top ranked private equity sponsors and leveraged finance franchise in EMEA. Later he managed a sizeable Corporate & Investment Banking organisation at Executive Board level, with full profit and balance sheet responsibility.
Didier also acted as Chairman of the Board of an inhouse venture capital arm with over CHF 200M of capital invested in SMEs and was involved in the creation and structuring of the Swiss Entrepreneur Fund. He now acts as Executive Chairman of a direct lending platform focused on Swiss SMEs.
A Swiss and French national, Didier holds a degree (lic. oec. HSG) from University of St. Gallen and recently completed the High-Performance board programme at IMD.
